Alien Attack

A small, simple arcade style shooter - evade incoming ships and asteroids, collect powerups, and try to get a high score! (No persistent saving, sorry). Raise your score by surviving for as long as possible and destroying every enemy you can!

Powerups

Three powerups can drop from enemies to give you the edge you need:

• Missile Barrage: Launch a cluster of homing missiles that relentlessly hunt down their targets!
• Rapid Shot: Temporarily double your fire rate to mow your foes down!
• Laser: Engulf the screen with a gargantuan laser that annihilates all enemies it touches.

Enemies

Enemies are stupid and simple, but numerous. Small single attack craft dart across the screen, firing at set intervals, while larger formations of ships move down towards you, blocking your path! These enemies slowly get more and more numerous as your score increases, eventually flooding the screen with an insurmountable horde.

Additionally, watch out for asteroids! These behemoth rocks periodically tumble towards you, near-immovable objects you have to dodge. They can be destroyed, but only with truly overwhelming firepower.
